i think this is the last one

i love the face that Sumner was giving... it was so classic gerber baby.

a posed one... of sorts

I love to torture Meghan

Meghan is the mom to the twins that I shoot every three months.

Here are two of my fav's from their shoot. It is essentially the same picture just a different angle of it.

I love how caring and loving a photo like this is. It isn't staged or posed. Meghan was holding his had while he stood.

Let the festivities begin

Are you as excited as this little guy that Christmas season has officially started?

Happy Thanksgiving - Giving Back

Hope you all are enjoying a wonderful holiday. I have so much to be thankful for! I have had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful people this year, I have a wonderful family, 3 great kids who are healthy, what more can you ask for.

I am working on a plan on giving back for next year. I will be donating a entire afternoon to shoot families who have had children who have been affected by cancer. Each family will receive a free session and a 8x10. Want to help to give back? If you would like to help and do not fall under the previous category, I will also be shooting sessions (select dates available) and 50% of the profit of print sales will be donated to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

If you would like more information, schedule a session, or know of a family that has been affected and would like a session please contact me Rachel@finelinesphotography.com

They deserve a second post

I couldn't narrow down the selection for their session post. Here are a few more of my favorites

Zak & Erin

A chilly October morning I met Zak and Erin and their parents for a shoot at the beautiful Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley. They were ready to go after the long ride to Columbus for their shoot. I was able to keep up and capture some wonderful moments. I really enjoyed working with them and look forward to shooting them again in the spring.

Cara & Derrick

We had some beautiful weather in October. Another sunny afternoon perfect for shooting. Cara, Derrick and I spent a little time walking around Creekside Park in Gahanna to shoot their engagement session. You will see them make a return appearance to my blog next summer when I shoot their wedding.

Franny & Chuck

I was honored to share a sunny afternoon with Chuck and Franny as they renewed their vow's for their 10 year Anniversary. What a wonderful couple they are.
If you are in need of a DJ, you should give Chuck a ring a ding. I had the opportunity to work with him in September at a wedding he was working as well.
