John & Elsa

I love the beautiful simplicity of this couple. The photos I selected are a few of my favorites. The one of him standing in front of her was just a moment I caught them sharing.

The reception was held at the Everal Barn in Westerville. What a beautiful location this is, even when it is rainy.

Oh, on a side note, they had carmel apples for favors. And they let me have one :) They were so good!

I think she likes the camera

Remember the good ol' days? I wish I were in high school again. Here are a few photos from Brittany's Senior pictures. She is so natural in front of the camera.

Marking 5 years

Yesterday marked an anniversary that is not one you want to celebrate. Today I mark the 5 year anniversary of meeting my husband, and the 4 year anniversary of the first time he said the 3 little words that change everything. Our meeting was caused by the 11ths tragic events. It is amazing how life changes in 5 years.
I Love You Kirk!

Jumping for Joy

I can't believe that my boy is 7. Wow! He had a party today, followed by his pictures and a visit to Build-A-Bear ( he loves the dogs there, todays dog was a Army Sgt.). Then to wrap up the festivities we went to Red Robin for dinner.... not what I would have chosen for a b-day dinner, but it was his choice.

Michael & Mallory

No I am not talking about an old eppisode of "Family Ties". This was a couple that got married yesterday. She is a beauty, let me tell you. The wedding was in Dublin, what is it with the round abouts up there? This isn't Europe for crying out loud. The reception was held in the large ballroom of the Columbus Atheneaum.

I got some really cool Williams Sonoma mixing bowls and spatula set with pancake molds in Halloween shapes. All this for being my normal, crazy self.

some more of LeAnne & Jake

Here are some more of the pics. Including them arriving to the reception in style, the detail shoe shot including her grandma's rosary, and "the twins".

LeAnne & Jake

I love LeAnne and Jake. They are the kind of couple that a photographer loves (This is the couple from my business cards). They always did what ever I asked of them. This wedding was all about them. It was totally laid back, which is their style. I was afraid we would not be able to get any outside photos, due to the weather. As we were driving to the reception the clouds were parting, and the sun was finally shining.
Plus I got to see "the twins" again. I have seen them at 3 weddings this summer. I am sure I will get to work with them again if the other one ever gets a ring on that finger :)
