The toy ride was a HUGE success. Thanks to the 176 bikes that turned out to help make the holidays of the homeless children of central Ohio a little brighter. I had the pleasure of working with little Hailey and C.J. at a wedding this past July. This time they brought their cousins too. I am so thankful for this beautiful weather, but the sun is intense.

Happy Turkey Day!

Ok, so I know I am a day early, but I won't be posting tomorrow. I hope everyone has a happy & SAFE Thanksgiving. And I hope you eat more than your fair share.
It looks like I will get to sleep in on Friday since the Black Friday sales suck this year (in my opinion). The only thing in the ads I have any interest in isn't on an early bird sale.

I was fearing that the weather we have had lately would continue and we wouldn't be able to shoot today. It was actually fairly nice and the sun made a bit of an appearance. We had to push the shoot so late because Matt shaved his head for a school function, so we were trying to give it time to grow back.

Ride for a good cause

A.D. Farrow Harley Davidson has again addopted the homeless shelter kids for christmas. There will be a toy ride, November 26 at 9:00 am, the ride will leave Farrow's at 491 W. Broad Street downtown, and be escorted by the Highway Patrol Bikes, to the new Northstar dealership being built off Rt 36/37 in Deleware were there will be donuts and coffee. Toys should be of atleast $10 value or you can pay the $10 bike fee. We are also collecting mittens and hats. Hope to see you there. Don't ride? We are also accepting the donations at A.D. Todays session was some holiday and family photos with the beautiful Miss Sophie. She is at the crawling stage so sitting still for her pictures isn't as fun as taking off and getting into stuff.

So I have to fly

Like I said before, I am shooting a wedding next September in NYC. I was hoping Kirk would be willing to drive, no such luck. So up in the air I will go. Here is the other part of the delima. Where am I gonna stay? I have looked on http://expedia.com for flight and hotels. I have found some really cool places and some that I am just amazed with. Would have loved to stay at the Waldorf Astoria but thats 2400$ for the janitors closent ( kidding....kind of) for 2 nights and air fair, so thats out of the question. I have been told to stay at the Millineum. So if anyone has any recomendations on where or where not to stay I am all ears. You can email me or just leave the info in the comments section.

One word to describe this couple.....FUN. I had a great time with these two, and amidst all the chit chat discovered that they know my husband. Not that that adds to any of the pressure.

P.S. Todd you should have parked down by me, as I was leaving there was buck (6 maybe 8 points). Would have surely topped the other picture.

Toughest customer

Connor hates pictures, I mean hates pictures. We ( parents and I ) begged, pleaded, bribed and everything else you can do. He was not havin it. There is a reason they call it the terrible 2's. He really is a sweet kid, don't get me wrong. He was just not gonna do the picture thing. Here are a few that I did get.

It certainly hasn't been the warmest weather lately, but the shoots must go on. It wasn't to terribly bad yesterday, at least not for me I wasn't the one sitting on the cold stone.

Ahhh its November, 21 days till Black Friday

October is gone, what a wonder fall is in Ohio. We started October off in shorts and tank tops and end it with coats and mittens. Which means only one thing, Christmas is almost here ( YAY!) . I did my annual log into oldnavy.com to clean house on their "bargains" section. If you have kids definitely worth logging into right now. Plus I have already been looking on line for "Black Friday" adds. Yes, I am one of those crazy people who gets ridiculously early to stand in line with the other ya-hoos hoping to lay my hands on the "one thing I have to have". I do not go out with a entourage of help though. I stick to myself, I get in, I get the loot, I get out.
