This is my first maternity shoot. I was twice as nervous about this shoot than I was my first wedding. I will not post any photos that include the face of this mother to be until I have permision. So until then here are a few that I will post.
I am not sure they have completely thawed out yet. Talk about being troopers. I think it was 40 degrees outside, but it didn't seem to bother them, maybe because they were cudling.
This was my first wedding at the awe- inspiring St. Josephs Cathedral. If you have ever been there, I do not have to tell you how beautiful this location is. The reception was held at the Embassy Suites off of Cleveland Ave. The food was mmm-mmm good. The entertainment for the evening topped all though. This was my first wedding with a live band, and the street players did not dissapoint. They really know how to get the crowd up. They even let Lisa's dad step in with them on guitar. I almost feel bad for the bride whom had the other banquet room, her guest were standing in the door way to the room we were in enjoying the band.
I was just asked to shoot a wedding next September in New York City. How cool is that? Wonder what the drive time will be? I have never been and this girl doesn't fly.

Another shoot at the magnificent Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley. Here are a few of my early favorites from todays shoot. Although the inside of the mansion is closed on the weekends to the public, a kind worker for the city of Bexley let us take a quick few inside.
The sign said no dogs, but we brought Bugsy out anyways. We did their engagement session at the Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley. What a gorgeous location. Shaun isn't really into getting pictures taken, but I think they turned out pretty good. I can't wait to shoot their wedding next June. Hopefully they feel the same.
Rarely do I ever work mostly with the groom, but working with Grant was a pleasure. Sarah is studying to be a vet so her time is limited. Grants no slouch though, you may see him if you ever have to visit the E.R.
