Poor little boy didn't stand a chance being placed with these two. Who checks the backgraound of these foster parents? I believe these two along with Andrea Yates should fry in eternal hell. Though I am sure that they will plea out of the most serious charges and get a few years in jail . Appearently killing a kid in this country is less of a crime than killing a drug head on the corner for that you atleast get life in prison. I am sure the "mom" ( i use this term losely) will say she has some type of post partum disorder. They didn't have to let this boy die, They could have chosen to have him placed in another home.

Crazy weather last night

I had no idea about the storm till my sis called and said we were under a tornado watch. Then about 15 minutes later the sirens were sounding. This all came from out of no where. I sent the kids to the basement to play down there, though it really didn't look bad out here. After much of the storm had passed, Kirk and I stood on our back deck and watched the clouds swirl, they were trying to form a funnel it just didn't have enough power Thankfully. It was a really amazing to watch. Though i felt like one of those idiots you see on the news with a big twister heading right for them and they are standing there with their video camera.

Kick A$$ Shoes

At good prices. Nothing makes me happier than a clearance find. I had a really bad day today. The kind that makes you want to take a long, hot bubble bath and listen to Sade. So when that isn't an option, the next best thing is a little retail therapy. I got me a pair of Liz Claiborn sandles for 70% off. And a pair of cute black wedges for 50% off. That makes me happy. The Liz sandles are colored "Texas Black" which really must mean dark chocolate brown.

Mykka & Kenan

Talk about a celebration of union. That is exactly what went on yesterday. These two love birds met a while attending Kent State. Among other things that they share in common, is their strong religious beliefs. It was a touching ceremony. They wrote their own vowels, and they brought a tear to my eye. So to Mykka & Kenan, may God bless you and keep you, and may your many years together be filled with laughter, love, and tears of happiness. Thank You for letting me share in your day.

Can I take a minute?

Have ever had to slam on your brakes, and your purse or whatever goes flying across the car? Now imagine this is a small child getting flung around because they are not properly restrained. Beyond Scary I know. This is one of my biggest peeves. There is no reason not to have your children properly seated and buckled into a car seat. I know car seats are not cheap, but there are agencies that will provide low cost or even free car seats. So that being said your financial status should not be a excuse for poor parenting decisions. A visit to the Dr's office would surely cost more. It breaks my heart to see this, as I did twice yesterday while traveling. And one of those times a car seat was clearly visible in the car.
I am a very passionate person, with wildly strong beliefs. I do not intend to offend anyone with my opinionated post that will surely be on here from time to time. Just take them as my 2 cents.

Very excited!

Starting tomorrow I am heading into overdrive mode. It kicks off with Mykka & Kennan's wedding tomorrow. Followed by a childrens shoot on Tuesday, Then I have Senior pictures on the 26th and engagement photos on the 27th. And Nathans 1st day back to school. Then in September I have a wedding every weekend except the 16th when we will be celebrating my Nathans 7th birthday. Followed up by 2 weddings in October as well as a Maternity shoot and another set of senior pictures. To all of those who have inquired about 07, I look forward to meeting with you very soon. AHHHHH Finally!

So I finally figured out why my image wouldn't upload. Problem solved! So here is a picture from what I lave learned how to do. I think it makes baby girl Eva stand out more so in this photo.

I have been trying to post a picture for the last 2 days

I learned how to make a photo black and white, then pull color back through it. Unfortunately I keep getting a error when I try to upload the photo. So for right now you will have to take my word for it.

And why wouldn't they rather play?

When you're 5 & 7 the last thing you want to do is get your picture taken. Especially if you go to a park. I was able to get a few photos worth noting however.

Little man is the child of my friend Scott. They were over for dinner so i whipped out my camera and got some photos of him playing in my backyard.

It's really amazing to watch your child grow. Today we celebrated Kati's 3rd birthday. There is absolutely nothing like having a little girl. I hear how she is just like me and although I try to play it off, since she has a rotten ornery side, I know its true. I love this little lady, she means everything to me. I am thankful for her.
